Working through challenges can be overwhelming whether you’re starting therapy for the first time, jumping back in, or looking for a change in your clinician. As someone who has sat on both sides of the therapist’s office, I understand the discomfort of growth. It is my hope to create a welcoming and safe environment where you feel empowered to tell your story and own it.
I received my M.A. in Counseling and Rehabilitation from the University of South Carolina, School of Medicine, and I first started working with clients through my internship with the Department of Mental Health.
My areas of interest include LGBTQIA+ identities, womxn’s health, ADHD, anxiety, relationship issues, stress, and life transitions. I also enjoy supporting individuals through their transition from adolescence to adulthood, especially as they progress through higher education.
At the core of my practice, I believe that each individual is the expert of their own experiences, and I strive to create a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship. I recognize that recovery and wellness are unique to each person, and I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs.
Outside of work, I find joy in spending time with my partner, our families, and our cats. I also love to read, travel, and catch a concert whenever I have the time.
