Supporting you throughout your story of growth.

Licensed Master Social Worker

Life can throw unexpected challenges our way, leaving us feeling overwhelmed and uncertain. Maybe you're seeking support to navigate through difficult times or simply need a compassionate ear to listen. I am here to help you identify and explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with empathy and acceptance. Too often, life journeys include trauma and adversity. I am particularly passionate about helping you heal and working collaboratively to reclaim your story. Each person’s story is unique, and my approach is adaptive to your individual needs and goals. Together, we'll work towards healing and empowerment, enabling you to live a more fulfilling life equipped with the tools and insights necessary to navigate life's challenges with resilience and grace.

I believe personal growth occurs within relationships. In my therapeutic relationships, I use a warm and nurturing approach to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, allowing you to live a more fulfilling and authentic life. It was my own journey of growth that fueled my passion for helping others and led me to transition from a 22-year career in corporate work to a role as a therapist. I received my Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Carolina, where I focused my training on mental health. Before joining Everyday Wellness, I supported clients in their growth journey at the Department of Mental Health.

I enjoy working with adults who are struggling or overwhelmed with life stressors or may be experiencing depression, anxiety, or processing trauma. I draw from a variety of techniques in which I’ve been trained, including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my spouse and children. I love to read and watch movies, both for entertainment and to learn something new. Part of my self-care includes channeling my thoughts and emotions through artistic expression – or a home improvement project.
