For as long as I can remember, I have loved listening to people’s stories. Everyone has experiences that shape them and make them unique. I feel privileged and honored when people choose to share their life’s joys and hardships with me. My goal as a therapist is to make you feel comfortable, respected, heard, and supported. I hope that therapy will allow you to process, learn, heal, and grow.
I earned my masters in clinical counseling degree from Columbia International University. I have experience working with children between the ages of 5-18, adults, and families. I am trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) for processing trauma, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Prepare Enrich for couples seeking premarital counseling. If a client is interested, I am happy to integrate faith into therapy.
During my free time, I love spending time with my husband and our puppy, Lumi. Some fun facts to share with you! I am a massive Harry Potter fan, I’m fluent in Finnish and a first-generation American, and am learning to play drums!
