My favorite moment in counseling is when I get to see my clients just beginning to live their truth. I see counseling as a unique experience for each person that comes in to work with me. Whether I am working with an individual, a couple, or a family, sessions are tailored to the special needs of everyone in the room.
I began in mental health during my psychology undergraduate studies at the University of South Carolina Aiken when I joined a local branch of a behavioral therapy center where I served children with Autism. After this experience, I knew that I wanted to work more with families and couples, and began my graduate studies in Columbia at the University of South Carolina. Here, I developed my counseling approach and began seeing couples and families for counseling.
Since graduation, I have worked in private practice and in an agency and provided counseling to a wide array of people from all walks of life. It is my ministry to help others live as genuinely as they can. When I am not counseling, you can find me with my lovely wife and daughters, in the garden, or covered in sawdust in the shop.
